To promote fundamental and applied IT research in Vietnam, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), in collaboration with Hanoi University of Industry and various scientific institutions, researchers from research institutes, and universities nationwide, are organizing the 18th National Conference on "Fundamental and Applied IT Research".

The main topic of this year’s conference is "Digital Transformation and Future Trends". Nevertheless, in line with the tradition of the FAIR conference series, submissions are not restricted to this topic and may cover a broad range of topics in Information Technology and its applications.

FAIR’2025 receives academic endorsement from four leading institutions in the field of Information and Communication Technology: the University of Danang, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology, and the Institute of Information Technology – Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The 18th FAIR Conference (FAIR’2025) will be held at Hanoi University of Industry over two days: Thursday and Friday, August 21–22, 2025.
